Nine Players, Hundreds of Combinations,
One Goal
It's that time again. Time to
tape up the bats, choose a field, work on your effortless Wiffle Ball
Curveball, and to start thinking again about the Wiffleball World
Series 2006. But before that, nine players will battle through
each other to see who is the best in any and every situation.
The games will be either 2v2,3v3, or
4v4. The games will be either 4 or 6 innings long, with 2 outs
per inning. 6 Balls is a walk, 3 Strikes is an out. The
rules must be decided prior to the game, not as the game
progresses.
In all games there must be a written
play-by-play provided to the webmaster, Alex Whapham.
Here is an example of the written play-by-play I am expecting.
Alex Whapham comes to bat.
Swinging Strike. Called Strike. Ball. Ball. Ball.
Alex Whapham homers to centerfield with a 3-2 count. Alex
Whapham scores. Whapham/Perdue 1, Bacon/Campbell 0. Corey
Perdue comes to bat. Swinging Strike. Swinging Strike.
Called Strike. Corey Perdue strikes out. 1 out. Alex
Whapham comes to bat. Ball. Ball. Ball. Called Strike.
Alex Whapham Flies out to pitcher Campbell. 2 out. End of
Inning.
I know it's detailed but I know you
guys will love having detailed, accurate stats to look at, such as
strikes/balls, batting average, slugging percentage, etc.
